My heart is broken for the filly race horse Eight Belles.
She gave it all she had and beat the boys to finish in second place at the Kentucky Derby.

"Filly Eight Belles finished second but pulled up injured after the end of the race. She broke both front ankles and was immediately euthanized."

Rest in peace girl.
